@ilikepointlessinternetargument AI Text to Image AI cannot do art without input from actual artists. However this is only one form of AI. AI hasn't reached AGI. Semantics aside, I can find plenty of Soulless Art Canvasses at GoodWill right now, or even hanging up in Galleries. I can find plenty of soulless art online that some Artist made, digital or hand drawn. My Wifes Sister has become a much sought after Artist, shmoozing with Hollywood and Politics at fancy fucking parties selling her shit for over 100k. She has underpainters. Is that soulless? Many Artists, big or small don't have soul in their Art, they have bullshit. Does every painting have a soul? Nah, most Art is shit, and having a SOUL is fucking subjective. Most Artists are full of themselves and bullshit some grandiose meaning and emotion to their Art. I've seen some AI Art contain more soul than the majority of Artists can dredge up. However, I'll give you this. Those claiming T2I Art is theirs, and they are an Artist themselves, are bullshit... However that was never my own argument, and if you assume by your reply, that it somehow was, that is a strawman. Now there are some Artists I truly love. Like Luis Royo, Boris Valejo, Ken Kelley, and Frank Frazetta to name a few. Sure as shit their Art is also integrated into T2I, and is generating works they've never made. However, it can do some damn impressive work based off of those Artists, and sure as shit they look like the have this unmeasurable, unfounded, subjective soul you say AI Art can't have. Do I have an issue with it, nah, because you are fighting a losing battle, and it is what it is. You have no idea what DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGY is, and how your fight is laughable. You are a horse breeder pissing and moaning about the first manufactured cars when they started gaining mass adoption. Despite what your argument is, you won't gain any ground. Pandora's Jar is opened. Look for the light left somewhere in the bottom. I do. AI is going to be a massive tool for Artists, Engineers, Architects, and Storytellers. You can't go back. It doesn't matter that it feels unjustified. It is what it is. Suck it up. Realize shit changes, and this change was always inevitable. Disruptive Technologies... AI, automation, drones, robots, augmented intelligence... There is going to be a shit ton of disruption in the very near future. Buckle up, project farther than the moment, and see the possibilities, and potentials. I don't care to fight your fight, because I am seeing a far bigger picture here.
