I believe that artificial superintelligence will force us to become massively dependent on eachother on a global scale, because we will have to just to know the truth. It will become too much of a risk to not establish good relations with every single nation on earth. Like you said, what happens if ai tricks one nation with nuclear power into believing that another nation has started a nuclear war? Everything will be over within hours.
