Do you believe people will care if they know AI is creating their media? Do you think people will be outraged if they realize huge media companies are making huge profits via generating their content and laying off employees? Screw the AI art is not art argument, i’m more worried about the fact that people don’t seem to care that the effort and beauty put into artwork is what makes it so special, and what creates a unique final product. I do not care for the effort put into image generation, I care for intent of humans to be translated through a complicated and faulty system (the brain), i believe that to be unique and special, regardless of the truth that AI art is art. AI art is epistemically useless art in that serves no purpose to me in that it is an amalgamation of human translations not compiled by a human, but an algorithm, that detail makes the process fruitless in my opinion.
