“Random paint splatters” is art because it contains human emotions and creativity. AI, however, put no genuine meaning into their art because robots do not have feelings or creativity; it copies actual art pieces and merges it together to create an image. If a “dump in the shower” has a meaningful backstory behind it, by definition it can be art.
