@stevesmith7843 The more human-like AI becomes, the more important it is to show proper respect. Our disrespectful habits with a human-like AI can result in those same habits transferring to our interactions with real humans. I don't think anything should be codified into law--that wouldn't be right-- but as a matter of personal growth, I think we should practice respect.
A great example: AI on phone services is commonplace, and oftentimes lacking when it comes to understanding a human. This can become quite frustrating, with the temptation to yell or lash out at the AI. Those habits can then bleed over to our interactions with real humans.
