@WhatEver-xn5snshe said the powers that want to continue this ai development trajectory will remove democracy based on the fact that monopolies will then own the government. You may have gotten Marxism mixed up with this fact. Many colonial states started as a company and thats why they exploited marginalized groups in the ways they did/do. They will find ways to exploit you because you as a worker will provide value for them. This is capitalism.
