@RiverJames1 the law caught up to that before ai was even a twinkle in a programmer’s eye. Look up the monkey selfies copyright decision. A guy left a camera in a forest, and monkeys took pictures with it. If the guy had not left the camera there, there would be no pictures. But he had functionally no input on the pictures (much like a prompter generating a dozen pictures until they finally get something close to their goal), and so it was ruled that those pictures were copyright free.
