Correction, everybody except devs thought software was just coding.
I was talking to my CEO the other day and I mentioned challenges. He asked "what challenges?".
One of the problems with AI is as you say the context, especially lack of it between sessions. To overcome that, I've been writing many MD files to document everything from project history, glossary, key design decisions etc. and I used AI to create them. These are live documents to be maintained through the life-cycle.
Also, I'm getting much more leverage if I treat AI as a sort of colleague, involving in the thoughts and discussions, and not just a coding slave.
Vibe coding, for production level, that's for the birds.
