Yes it would be. I never said it wasn't.
But training with it would not. It's most likely legally more akin to studying a work. The produced works could very much violate copyrights (just like a forgery does or how Lichtenstein's arguably should have). But the fact that an artist was part of a training set doesn't likely count as a copyright violation.
I didn't say anything about morality. But why would I suddenly become a luddite (as in the specific social movement from the industrial revolution) because the automation effect's jobs that I enjoy? It devaluing labor in that sense is no different then what automation has always done, and will continue to do. It's kind of odd that people are now spazzing out about it because it's effecting workers they feel a connection to.
