that is not how it works lol. Putting something in public doesn't mean anyone can just take it. Sam's IG is public, and taking his art and reposting it saying it's yours would still be art theft.
Your problem here is you are conflating legality with ethics. Just because something is legal doesn't make it ethical or okay. Remember, in many countries, it's still legal to KILL a woman for cheating on her husband.
AI art being legal means absolutely nothing. It is causing the death of a human skill. No one is going to commission real artists when they can pay a small fee and get 30 "Drawings" in an instant. This is making people not appreciate real art and your comment is a perfect example. It's a fucking weird day when people start simping for artificial intelligence.
