We're not talking about the dangers of AI in general, we're talking about the dangers of human beings utilising AI for a specific purpose. Whenever advances in technology are made there is often the risk that humans will use it to kill each other, sad but true. Being concerned about the use of AI in war doesn't make someone a luddite any more than opposing nuclear weapons does.
