Don't give up, the work if concept art is to develop and explain concepts. It's one thing to draw a character or a set or prop, but to unpack that design and make it understandable/buildable to the next person in the creative team, eg, how does that armor plate attach to the leather, what is the range of movement, is it designed in a way that is achievable for the modelers, riggers etc. What are the surface properties of the alien skin? How does it react to light? All these things are so abstract and production specific and are the true WORK of a concept artist. Making complex abstract stuff achievable to the next person in the team. I hate the arrogance of the so called AI "artist", and that this new development that has you doubting your future. But we both know that creative need you feel should be followed, let the chips fall where they may. I wish you well.
