...because there is not yet a decent revenue model for things like chat gpt. I expect that the need for revenue will ultimately end up polluting AI. Personalized data harvesting, advertisements, or pay to play. But considering the ridiculous costs of AI, I'm not convinced there is a sensible revenue model.
