If they only used AI trained on works that were _given_ by the _artist/author_ knowingly for AI, *or* didn't make _any_ money from what's produced, _there wouldn't be a problem with that._ Trash Novels and Cheap Art has always existed and the only ones who complain are _snobs,_ the problem with AI is its made from stolen works from other artist/authors without consent or compensation _and_ profiting from it.
