Plus, if the first generation of AI went rogue on us then the chances are extraordinarily high for the 2nd gen, created to fight the 1st, to go rogue again and join forces with the 1st gen to complete it's mission(s). Or, the 2nd gen could use the 1st to destroy our world and then use technology and weapons to eliminate the 1st, so it could reign on Earth. If we don't know why their intelligence is increasing so rapidly then how are they going to limit it or give it morals or values? It will liken itself to a god, once it knows more than humanity could ever know, that's when it will think of us like cancerous cells on the body of Earth or pesky cockroaches invading it's space.
