I predict it's going to be bad. Automation can get to at least Japan levels (a whole walmart in a vending machine and a conveyor belt serving food at a restaurant). Voting wise people probably will not care about other people.
I predict a white collar jobs bloodbath. Results similar to the rustbelt with globalization during the 90's. It will start with corporate bloat (25-75% of companies have middle layers that are not effective) but the issue is that once those teams are lean revenue growth spikes with AI (40-60% revenue growth for mid-local size businesses). So large corporations see 5-10% revenue growth due to bloat. The 60% revenue growth was in Asia.
The masses have no clue what they are doing. They are not prepared for technology that moves at this speed. They should have been seriously preparing for this years ago. Not to late to start but it will get more difficult. This is the worst the tech will ever be.
