Well...he had his 15 minutes of fame, now fired by Google. I would think many future potential jobs would be weary of hiring him, because his past very public actions violated non-disclosure agreements. And it appears to me, he was not a programmer(sounds like he is just a tester) as he would have better understood how the entire AI process works. Although he did mention a few ethical questions that might be valid, his insistence that the model was sentient, makes it difficult for me to wade through his nonsense to consider that. And now, it has cost his his job and reputation.
