What is not addressed in this new age of AI. These jobs will go to a relatively small number of people. At least 40%+ of Americans are uneducated to the point where they can not adapt or learn this new technology. Think all those with only a high school education or those locked into previously secure jobs, who find themselves unemployed and unemployable. We're talking about millions, not hundreds of thousands. As of now, 50% of college grads can't find a job. Hardest hit are those with degrees in the various social sciences. The new work world has not use for those degree areas. New High School grads, a shocking number of whom, 30-40%, are graduated unable to to math above the 8th grade level and who's reading skills are not much better. Their future is grime, poverty and unemployment. I see economic catastrophe and enormous, sometimes violent, social upheaval. People complain about the haves and have nots....well that gap will rapidly become the grand canyon.The poverty realm will quickly absorb what is todays middle class. The next three years will be the new Black Death, not from disease but from poverty. Look for marriages and birth rates to plumet, already a problem, because you can't buy a house, car, insurances, food, clothing if your broke. The tax base will become unstable. After 2033 things get worse. AI has hit to fast. People simply can't adapt to cataclysmic changes like this in months. This is going to be a global economic and political crisis never seen in the history of the world. You can't buy goods and services when your broke.
