Somewhat true. Chatbot does well at simpler tasks but kinda struggles when it comes to thousands of words report/essay with credible citation.
I could ask it to make the essay, but it wouldn't be consistent with my own style. You still need to give it direction constantly.
Since there is no stopping students from using it, and that students will inevitably use it, the test and examination will have to be done in class or be incredibly complex.
I still believe in Pen and Paper hallway examination. You really need to underatand the sh1t to be able to tackle the exam. This is where ChatGPT comes in handy. With a proper use and good direction input, it really helps with self studying.
At the same time, most uni aren't going to invest in ways to test and grade their students. It costs time and money... something that most uni thrive on in the first place.
