Eliezer is extremely unwise over this subject, does not understand a number of key points correctly, and if the USA government did what he wants to be done it would result in global nuclear war... something I have heard him admit and clearly state that he knows it would mean nuclear war which would collapse civilization and when civilization rebuilt itself we would have to wage another nuclear war to collapse civilization and by repeatedly doing that before AI is fully developed he thinks it will allow humanity to live the longest. It is truly an insane stance.
