Excellent point. Maybe he hasn’t heard a good description of this new world because he hasn’t asked an artist. If we don’t need to do traditional “work” anymore to live/survive, then we’ll have to look at what else humanity wants to strive for. To be human is to strive for some kind of beneficial outcome. The community around me is interested in spiritual development. So those folks will have more time to devote to the spiritual side of humanity. The biggest problem I see here is: who is making sure that this scenario of not needing to work anymore will apply across the board to ALL HUMANS? How likely is it that AI will benefit all sectors of society? How likely is it that AI will benefit the planet EARTH, our home? Can we trust the intentions and motivations of the handful of AI CEO billionaires like Musk to ensure equity in this scenario? No.
