@krankvegann True, I probably phrased it in a certain way that legitimate art relies on skill. But true art doesn't rely on skill alone but the artist's capabilities to Imagine. Skills are just tools that an artist uses to communicate his work properly to his audience, but it's the soul and creativity that brings out an artwork. Like how one artwork can give you a certain emotion when you see it. That feeling of sadness, gladness, madness, and confusion is something AI cannot fully do on its own, since all AI art relies on the images it scans. But, it doesn't look at it with understanding of the work but it takes it for verbatim. It doesn't create a work of emotion, but an amalgamation of complex art works with no flow and reason. And when you say what is the line that considers art? I believe that art is subjective, but don't think that I say this cause I don't have an answer. Think of it this way. Imagine a painting of a black dot, an Average person may think it's pretty boring and has no rhyme or reason to be there. But, in certain types of people they may see things they cannot see, they might see an Abyss within the light. At times it depends on what the person sees that he considers what is truly art, as I explained it depends on what you see. Basically it's the "Beauty is on the eye of the beholder" thing. When you splatter a bunch of paint with no rhyme or reason. An observer might see a mess or an abstract art. When you draw a stick man, an observer might see a child's drawing or they might see it like how people saw Picasso's artworks and call it a masterpiece. All in all, I want to say: AI might mimic art, but it cannot mimic its soul and creativity. Art is subjective, and it depends on what you and others see which considers something as art.
