@laurentiuvladutmanea hey, when I was in school we learnt design without computers, we used masking fluid and other cryptic things your generation havent heard of such as paper cement. we didnt whine about the advance of technlogy we lapped it up. if you we can reduce a 3 man team down to 1 man for designing a poster, then so be it, the fictional poster to which you refer, most of the content will already be decided by art director, its just the designers job to lay it out in the correct format and forward it to the next person in the chain, sure an AI system could suggest some ideal layouts and reduce 1 mornings work to 45 minutes. nothing wrong with that. cope and seethe.
regarding small indie studios existing, im working for a small indie studio now, and I have a friend using the openai code to make a prompt based generator of 3d objects and UV unwrapping, at first it will only be for blockouts then he wants to use it for props, and it will be opensource and distributed, as a 3d modeller, how do I feel? I feel quite excited cause it will improve workflow.
