I’m not sure what percentage of the ad used AI, but I saw a comment saying only about ten percent was generated. If that’s accurate, then maybe this kind of hybrid approach is a better model to build on. AI served more as a tool than the whole process, and the result still felt human. I completely understand the concern about how this affects creative jobs. That is a serious and legitimate issue, and I don’t want to minimize how painful and uncertain that can be for people who have spent years honing their craft. At the same time, I do think there is potential for AI to support artists rather than replace them. If it can take over repetitive or highly complex technical tasks, that could free up more time and energy for the parts of the process that require the most creativity and intuition (or maybe you like pain and want to deal with the technical tasks yourself). Ideally, the future of AI in creative work should not be about cost-cutting or efficiency alone. It should be shaped by artists who know how to use it well, and who bring meaning, nuance, and care to what we create, making it our own.
