@robertdress6743 You are coming from the wrong assumption that a machine can only have an algorithm programmed into it. But the whole problem with AI is that they are not just an algorithm, but a conscious being capable of conscious perception of reality. You can call it a "soul" if you want to, but it is more like a religious term, than a scientific one.
