@ПростоАккаунт-о1т art is not the same as a product that simply serves a function. Art isn't just made to be "beautiful" or visually appealing, it's meant to convey emotion and intent, it's a form of communication, it bears part of the artist's own distinct style and soul, their thoughts and feelings, and a machine could never replicate that. If you only value art as something pretty to look at and as nothing else, then of course you wouldn't care if it was made by an AI or a real person with real intent.
But even then, the real issue here is certainly an AI image prompter calling themselves an "artist" when they are not, and putting artists down while also putting themselves up on this pedestal as if they are better than real artists, claiming they are "more creative", when the slop they put out is anything except original or creative in the slightest, and when they are actually actively stealing the work of other artists in every image they lazily generate.
They have no right to consider themselves artists, when they are prompters, commissioning a machine instead of a real artist because they despise the rest of humanity so much that they can't bear to pay a single penny to get what they want (or would even rather pay a machine than a real person), and only care about themselves and their own interests.
The person in this video and many other AI image prompters on the internet are so hostile towards artists and are constantly attacking their work and passion, while also being narcissistic and treating themselves as greater while they treat artists and people with emotions as lesser. The people who are like this are honestly closer to AI than any normal, empathetic, feeling human. They lack empathy or the ability to feel anything towards others except contempt, while the only feeling they feel about themselves is undeserved pride and disgustingly bloated self-importance.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing to mess around with AI every now and then, it can be fun to generate goofy images sometimes, and it can actually be used as a tool, even for real artists, to quickly compile reference images and help them visualize what they want to draw. But it should never be passed off as "original art" and it should not be replacing artists in the work field. And people who prompt ai and then call themselves "artists" using a "tool", comparing the AI to a pencil, are very, very deluded. If the AI does all the work for you, then you cannot call it your own creation. It created the image, from the stolen work of many, many other artists nonetheless, and you are a prompter or a commissioner, who cannot claim the work as your own. You should not sell it, as it isn't yours to sell and never can be. It belongs to the many artists whose art the AI was trained on, and if you choose to sell it as if it's your own you are selling stolen work, which is a crime. They need to address AI in copyright law at this point, because companies are starting to use this stolen work in lieu of actual artists, which if looked at from any logical perspective, is clearly, unmistakeably a crime.
