But you can't copyright a style.. (not sure how that works with fonts since they can be copyrighted and are a stylistic choice..).. And while these AI can be used to infringe on copyright, it really should be reviewed case by case, not just 'ban AI because it breaks copyright laws. WEll then ban computers because they can be used to code viruses. Ban other artistic tools because they too can be used to infringe on copyright. Ban tools in general because they can be used to commit crimes. Consent? When you enter public space like the Internet, you automatically give consent to be observed. And what these AI do... well. They 'observe' with their computer VISION, identify the patterns and store them away.. the mathematical variables of those patterns, and basing on that, learn what things look like... It may be can't 'get inspired' because it's not a human and it's not in its capabilities.. But it mimics our ways.. It's not as much of the 'use' issue, as one of perception. since AI doesn't contain the pieces within itself.. nor does it have access to them during the generation process..
