You have to be realistic, Uber is a giant. They have annual revenues over 7 billion dollars. This lady? Her family? Just how much resources do you think they have? This is the way things always go. Facebook is a recent example, albeit less dire. Huge megacorps simply have more money, more intel, more power, entire teams of lawyers, the best.
You know what? I was never asked, by ballot or otherwise, if I'd like to have autonomous vehicles share our roads with us. We were never asked, and we never will be. It's getting worse.
