They are approaching art and creativity as a means to income first as opposed to turning their passion into income. They were never going to get the point of art at all, they only look at it now at all because they believe they can, and in many unfortunate cases do, make easy money from it. Those using AI for Art so they can do other things are, in most cases, not people that enjoy the creative process, to them they are offloading the chore / work while doing something else.
