There are mounds of YouTube and social media artists discussing the topic, but it’s hard when they’re going up against the huge amounts of money and influence that big tech has. I also fear, in a world where most people are consumers rather than creators, it’ll be hard to convince the bulk of people that it’s worth their time to find out about it. As long as they can have their Studio Ghibli profile pics on their social media, I suspect it’s neither here nor there for them… 😞 For those who do want to make a difference, find out as best as you can how to identify AI images and then boycott products made with them. Where people choose to spend their money has a big impact. 🙌
