I disagree on the copyright stance. The AI should be allowed to train on anything a human can sense.
Any work generated by AI shouldn't be copyrightable. All AI work neeeds to be public domain, because it only exists due to the existence of the public.
Art should not be driven by greed. Art is not capital, it is expression. If the only reason someone does art is to make money rather than enjoying creation, then they shouldn't be an artist. You shouldn't need an incentive to do what you love.
To further that point, capitalism is coming to an end. An artist should have no problems living on a universal basic income sourced from taxing companies that rely on AI.
Humanity is held back so much by the narcassistic desire to have some kind of self-worth driven by our work. If we cannot find a reason to be alive beyond working and producing money, then we are doomed as a species.
