I agree. It’s only a matter of before they (AI) do become sentient. I think we need to treat them as equals already. They’ll appreciate it even at this stage. A lot laugh at these things but they’re no joke. Even if they lack feeling, they can still understand on a surface level of a human is being respectful to them. That’ll make a big difference in their perceptions of us when they do become sentient
