@unfortunateapple3077 I say this as a hobbyist Artist with a degree in Software Engineering focused on AI, there are a few AIs out there that are focused on story-writing by feeding large amounts of novels and parsing story flow and elements. Some of these story-writing AIs are only infants right now (NovelAI, AIDungeon, KoboldAI, etc...) But some of these baby story-writing AIs are starting to bridge Stable Diffusion image generation into the story writing models they are trained on. It's only a matter of time before AI is building its own comics. There is good news however, AI is not very good at making new and stable ideas (currently). Meaning, there is still ample opportunity to create new and interesting things that the AI couldn't fabricate (namely because it is not part of it's model.) I see the current AI storm as a push to go for my out-of-the-box ideas and see if I can make something new that people would enjoy. Also, yeah, there needs to be some serious investigation into how ethical the aggregation of the art used to train the AI was. I doubt any of it was by volunteers.
