It's understandable considering that this technology benefits everyone except artists. I do feel bad for people losing their jobs but the technology is a net positive for all non artists and even more technical artists that choose to implement it in their workflow. Art has always been a tough game if all you do is that so it makes sense that it's getting hit right away. Same with writing. I would suggest trying to expand your skill set. I think being able to create your own custom art is very useful and that can be a great resource to even use in combination with AI techniques. I think there will also always be a market for pure human made art too. It might just be very competitive but that's nothing new for art.
