Art is what conveys emotions.
It may be the result of human crafting, it may happen randomly.
You could catch a moment with your phone, say a homeless guy walking under the rain, and that would be a piece of art.
Would you be automatically an artist?
I wouldn't say so.
In the same way, a generated image or songs could have the same result.
Would the prompter be an artist, though?
No, at best he could call himself an art director.
I know of many artists who generate stuff to get inspiration, or to get a reference, in the same way they always did by looking at other people's work.
That doesn't make an AI model an "artist" because it digested data, it makes it a database ana random generator.
The impact od AI is massive, but we have to live with it, adapt and make the best of it, because Ai is here it's not going anywhere.
