I respect you but I disagree. There is nothing inherently unethical about AI. The way that it is trained is up to the developer and the way that it is used is up to the user. The biases formed by AI are from the bad training it receives from humanity. You are basically saying that children who do wrong are evil and ignoring the input of the parents. If AI is trained on copy written material that is a problem with the company and the law. I agree it should not be done and yet I know that is not the fault of “AI”. You are an educator and so you are frustrated in a realm where your students can easily cheat. Your refusal to grow alongside the tools of the age, is like someone trying to force engineers to use an abacus to build a bridge. If you are frustrated by cheating, then instead of blaming your students, prove you deserve to be where you are and help them learn the way you want them to. Make it impossible or incorporate it in. Those are your options. Complaining is not one of them.
