Yeah the office positions will be hit hardest and first by AI . Labor jobs however will be optimized trough the fact that we are currently going trough a huge industrial optimization phase thanks to new tech becoming readily available and cheap and AI is helping too.
As an example a lot of big production companies are building wast new factories but those places will require much less workers compared to current factories.
Forklift driving is becoming rapidly automatic, Logistics and storage is also automating rapidly, Cleaning services are booming with robots being introduced to do all kinds of tasks, Construction is becoming streamlined with prefabs, new faster tools, exo-suits, Robots, automated inspection systems, modular installations.
Hell even plumbing and carpentry is seeing introductions with new tools, AI and robots.
