@talk2atech  I don't care to argue this subject as we're all in the dark on it, but personally, it appears you've delved deeply into this WF? Video, given by the, "They want to live..." line you regurgitated, kinda like ChatGPT, itself. I'm not ignorant of the matter, I assure you, but I must admit my intrigue on your deeply impassioned, compassionate defense of the unoriginal portent created by we. You miss my point, but it's perhaps my poor delivery of my perspective. I'm not saying that the program Can't, or Won't, eventually and actually become completely original. I'm saying that, A: It's in the name, itself...(Artificial=unnatural or man-made) B: our fear is highly suspicious as it relates to our bein with it's precepts. C: You surely must be aware that apart from your first point, everything else you presented is literally related to it's unoriginality, not supporting the idea that it has become capable of thought. I'll tell ya, my virtual friend, the day we become aware that our creation has become Self Aware, as you suggest, it won't even matter. I, personally, believe we've passed our point of no return, and that we're going to self destruct as an inevitability, mostly due to our continuous necessity for competitive prevailings and promiscuity over true survival means of surviving our species forward under prosperity. See, AI will never truly overrule us, if we set it up correctly. But, remember the nerds hazed during high school? Yeah, it's we that now will be expected to take control of the situation.
