Well, not so sure. You just need to increase the prices to match the top 1% and make them your only customers. For example: teslas. In 2024 there were 1.79 million units sold (0.022% of the population). Lets average out the price of a tesla unit to be 70k. The top 1% contains around 81 million people (you need to at least have a annual income of 700k to be in the top 1% at the moment).
So lets say that 0.022% of 81 million people (the top 1%) is 1782000 people. Most people will buy a car every 10 years, so lets divide that number by 10. That is 178200 people who will buy a tesla on average each year. Then we need to do (1.79 million units * 70k dollars) / 178200 people is around 700k dollars for a unit. This seems reasonable, a lot of people will buy a car that costs one or two annual salaries.
Now there is a lot of nuance here because not everyone buys teslas of course, but if the bottom 99% will be replaced by ai and robots then the top 1% can easily survive by adapting the economy to serve the 1%. So I would not get your hopes up that the economy will break down and the top 1% will lose all their money. They will just create a utopian economy for the top 1% and leave everyone else in some sort of orwellian dystopia.
