Ai uses images directly, fuses them together exactly as they are. We don't. I can see a character pose and since I understand how anatomy and camera works I can change the pose to fit my image and rotate the camera around to the centain degree. I REFERENCE, AI COPPIES. Besides, artists generally pay for reference images we are using to train. We buy anatomy books, we buy access to the image libraries or use images freely legally available. We do not steal someone's else work and call in 'Mine!'
