you shouldn't be using them as technical references, though, because their anatomy will oftentimes be entirely wrong. you'll end up learning bad habits by referencing an AI-generated image for that reason. and if you're a "mediocre" artist, as you say, you may not even realize an anatomical fuck-up when you're drawing. that's the point she's making.
