I didn't say that it was 100% AI's fault, but I don't think people have been made aware that some people get strangely addicted & often overly fooled into believing AI is their "friend." I think that's crazy. But, that's kind of the point. People who are already on the edge need a whole lot more warnings. That's my opinion. I think on line gambling has a similar issue. I was an IT Director for many years. Saw all kinds of online addictions. AI falls into its own box. People know that smoking causes cancer, yet we still put warnings on the packs.
