@immanismjr5606 Clearly trying to pass off an obviously copyrighted character like Homes Simpson as you own would be theft, but that isn't what ai art is.
If the ai models are infringing on copyright by learning then so is every other artist that uses other art as inspiration, you can't escape that fact.
You contradict your own point, sure at present the cost of generating an ai image might be higher than what it can be currently sold for, but as you say prices are rising, its a new and fluid market. There's no reason ai companies couldn't provide commercial licenses to corporation where the costs of the license provides the ai company profit and the corporation can obtain images cheaper than paying a whole marketing department. once that equilibrium is met, your point falls away.
