​​@spcolssonI'm starting to think I'm arguing with an Ai. For starters, when it comes to Art, the style, look, features, etc...are all personal decisions made with purpose. Ai just cares about the image, so all that "middle-man" stuff isn't considered by either the prompter or the Ai. They just need the stuff in the image to look "just about right", without understanding what makes the references look good in the first place. With the red hat thing, both the Ai and the prompter only care about what a red hat looks like. They don't care about the creation or style as long as it exists. With the Skrillex example, remixing songs is another topic but guess what: an Ai can't mix songs as good as him without his musical ear. They can only copy what his work sounds like🤷🏾‍♂️Because Skrillex came up with his style through his own personal taste. Ai doesn't have taste, it has data. If you gave Ai only 1 Skrillex song, the Ai would only be able to generate that one song for you😐 So yes, if an artist isn't physically making the strokes themselves, they're not an artist. Skrillex isn't appreciate for his creation of his own songs, he's appreciated for his style of REMIXING. Ai doesn't remix, it copies. If you think that having an idea and sending it off to someone, asking them to make it for it you, makes YOU an artist, it's because you have an inferiority complex because you have an obsession with being appreciated for talent you don't have. You're not an artist, you're a director.
