BTW...yep, I have skimmed through all the content and while I have seen mentions of art generation, it does not seem to care about the literal destruction happening in the art world (btw, the screen writers in Hollywood's strike was partly about it, as well). But truth to be told, it does mention the jobs loss problem. It starts to not look really neutral to me when it gets deep into it only when it's so advanced in the video timeline. But it does not mention the jobs that _already_ are being destroyed (not in a distant future), like digital painting and Illustration (one of my profiles... but other people are not so lucky, they are only illustrators), specially those dedicated to book covers is...for them it's done for good. The jobs loss part, though, is on point, even if too generic. At least they don't leave it out. A too big portion of developers (and worse, the VC funding which fueled all this!) don't care really about artists or their well being, at least in a big percentage (I know about this, have worked at a bunch of game studios, design firms, etc). Still, this, like any effort towards an ethical application of AI in society, is a great move. There are many big problems besides jobs loss. An immediate ramification (from the part of the video about job loss, but also in general from many other sections) of a lot of this, is that regulation is needed, and is needed in not the usual catch-up game when a law is released when the issue has become a different problem which needs an updated solution, and rendered the released law as virtually useless... But a way more solid effort is needed from now on. The first industrial revolution started so (and this is almost as big as that, or will be) : very poorly regulated, with tons of injustice. I hope we have evolved from then... (maybe we haven't).
