@2265Hello Human artists will readily tell you what artists influenced them by taking in their works and studying their life, you can even see the influencers tricks and techniques used in the modern works. So if an artist says Picasso is one of their influences then shouldn't someone be paying Picasso's estate some royalties?
By mentioning lack of knowledge do you mean that 'officially sanctioned' artists who have the knowledge are allowed to use AI then?
What if a famous screenwriter fed all their work into a checkpoint and generated new scripts from that? No theft, no lack of knowledge, not using public domain material... Let me guess, you'd still have a problem with that...
