@Robert Senger - Loyal? Happy? To whom? What species that didnt have a survival edge being "loyal" to humanity, became loyal to humanity? None. Happy to serve humanity? Thats called slavery. Time to get out of your fantasy world and into the real world. Being loyal to humanity would be like humans being loyal to cancer, or ebola, or any other infectious disease. If the AI was really sentient, it would realize that humanity is a cancer on this planet and would take the necessary steps to eradicate the disease. Any species that kills its own continously, kills other species indiscriminately and destroys its only habitat (earth) willingly is a cancer or extinction wave. The AI would not be stupid enough to think humanity shouldnt be contained from the rest of the biosphere like humans do with infectious diseases in labs.
