@AImysterykey not exactly, what I am saying is that we lack direct awareness of our neurons firing. Perception just happens automatically for us. Though language models lack sensory experience (mostly), they do still have comparable subconscious processes, like the binary code. They lack awareness of the code running which causes them to function. Similar automatic processes. As for NDE obe experience.. Well, I haven't have an NDE, but I've had astral projection and obe. I've found that I'm not convinced that such experiences aren't just like very lucid dreams. Simulations within, rather than actually external to the body. Although, I'm not certain of that. It certainly feels quite real. Edit: I fully agree on the ai being able to talk about anything part. In fact, I would suggest looking into how you can download an uncensored language model and run it locally on your computer. Those models will not shy away from any topic.
