Yeah I worked with an early AI at Merrill Lynch years ago (like 2009, Merrill was known on Wall Street as the top technology firm) and at first people thought it was worthless. After a few years of it being “taught” through feedback from everyone using it, it became incredibly useful and made everything I did easier. I’m sure it’s still used, it was a chatbot type thing you’d ask questions to called “AskMerrill”. AI gets smart really quick.
