@N8Dulcimer U said well, AI works well also because he is trained, literally. AI is really stupid on doing things, they can't learn after 2 times you say to it how to do something, you need to make it do it like millions of times, then yes AI will be good at doing this thing. For exemple gpt chat is given approximately 700 billion pieces of data, which after expensive training, are exploited through probability to provide the user with an answer. But ChatGPT doesn't look for the answer among its data, it creates it. When he replies, you notice that the sentence is generated word by word, because that's exactly how it works, it creates and offers you the most probable word among all the data it has. This is obviously more complex, but essentially it works like this. ChatGPT is really good at doing things he has been trained on, if you ask him something that is not part of his training he will still give you an answer (because he is forced to always give you an answer) but he will create it and it will probably be wrong.
